Feather Foot has no internet permission, so it can’t send your data anywhere. Everything it records stays on your phone unless you share it yourself.
Who we are
Feather Foot is made by Lahar Group Incorporated (“we”). This policy covers the Feather Foot Android app and this website, featherfoot.app.
What the app collects, and where it goes
While you’re monitoring a drive, the app reads:
- Location (GPS): used for speed, to detect full stops and to calibrate the motion sensors. The app doesn’t store your route.
- Motion sensors (accelerometer and gyroscope): used to measure how hard the car speeds up, brakes and turns.
From these it saves each drive’s summary to your History: date and length, top speed, counts, ratings and scores. If you turn on diagnostic logging in Settings, it also saves a detailed log file of each drive.
All of this is stored only on your phone. We never receive it. The app has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no crash reporting.
Permissions

Sharing
A drive report or a diagnostic log leaves your phone only when you tap Share and choose an app, such as Messages, Signal or email. From then on, that app’s own privacy policy applies to what you sent.
Deleting your data
Uninstalling the app, or clearing its storage in Settings › Apps › Feather Foot › Storage, deletes every saved drive and log.
This website
featherfoot.app uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party scripts or fonts. Like most web servers, ours keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, page requested and browser type) for security and troubleshooting.
Children
Feather Foot is meant to be run by an adult supervising a learner driver. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
